About my school holidays...

Last Saturday was my nephew's birthday and we were all very excited about it. The birthday party held for him was very grand as it was his first birthday. That's right! He is just a one year old baby who is so cute and chubby that it is really difficult for me to find words to describe him! The whole house was really noisy in there as quite a large number of relatives and friends were invited. Each one of us was also given a goodie bag from our aunt. I had a great time playing and chatting with my cousins, nephews and friends.

On a Saturday morning, my friends and I spent our time at Vivocity. We met at the Bedok MRT station and set off immediately after all of us were present. When we reached our destination, we went to a food court nearby to have lunch. After having our lunch, we went to look around and found out that it is a really huge shopping place!! Every floor is almost as large as a stadium and we could shop for hours and hours! There are also various shops that sell clothings, daily products and toys etc. We had a fun and enjoyable day there doing window-shopping, playing and eating. It was an unforgettable experience......

I am really sorry for not publishing my blog as I had been very busy for the past few weeks of the holidays. Anyway, I went to a place in Johor called Pengarang, where my family and I had a guided tour for one day!! This was my first time there so I felt very excited for the trip. We had a delightful breakfast in the morning and were ready to go. The events planned for us were really interesting and fun, therefore, we had a wonderful time there!!! Firstly, we went to the vegetable farm where we were exposed to a wide variety of vegetable plantations. Then we went to a small animal farm where there are goats, ostriches and chickens. After that, we went for a talk about honey and also came to know more about it. When it was time for lunch, we went to a seafood restaurant to have a sumptuous meal. After filling our stomach, we went to a biscuit factory to buy some biscuits home. Of course, we did not forget the most important thing to do, that is to SHOP !!! The shopping mall is really huge and we had plenty of time to do our shopping. Lastly, we went to another restaurant to have dinner. When it was time to go, we left Malaysia reluctantly...... It was a truly unforgettable day for us.

Wow ! Time passes really fast ! This is already the second week of my school holidays. I have not been to many places so far but I never fail to go for a swim in the nearby swimming complex every Saturday morning. Recently, my mother enrolled my brother and I for a swimming course. The instructor is quite friendly and I have enjoyed the lessons very much so far ! We usually cycle to the swimming complex as it is far away and is also a faster way to reach there on time. I always treasure the time after swimming classes as my mother would buy us ice-cream to eat. We would choose any flavours we want from a wide variety of different flavours available. After that, we would either lunch at the Japanese restaurant beside the swimming pool or at the food court nearby our house. Hence, I always look forward to Saturday mornings :)

Today, my cousin and I visited my grandmother's house in the late morning. We had a delightful breakfast in a fast food restaurant before we were on our way there. When we reached our destination, we were happy to see our grandmother coming towards us, greeting with a warm welcome. We had a wonderful time there. When it was time to go, we waved goodbye to our grandmother and went off. My cousin then decided to go shopping as it was still quite early to go home. Therefore, we went to shop around for a while at "Bugis Street" and had a sumptuous meal at a restaurant nearby. We had a fun time today and will be looking forward to another day together again.
